Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1881560A1] The apparatus has a flexible member deformed under an effect of stress to insert an electrical conductor between an inner surface (84) of a base wall (76) and an end edge of the member, when the conductor is engaged in a bilateral connection terminal (11). A monoblock actuating unit (12) has a flexible portion (108) connecting opposed rigid arms each forming a lever. The member retains the conductor between the surface and the edge unless it is deformed to space the edge from the surface by the lever. The portion is deformed under the effect of stress to vary a distance between the arms.
