[origin: EP1882531A2] The method involves removing ionized air particles, which adhere in ventilation channels (24a,24b) by a static charge. The air particles are conducted through the ventilation channels for cleaning. The ventilation channels have ventilation bodies (19), made of a synthetic material, particularly high frequency welding ventilation bodies for motor vehicles, and railed vehicles, ships, airplanes or air-conditioning systems. The ionized air particles have both positively and negatively charged ions. The ratio between positively and negatively charged ions is changeable. An independent claim is also included for a cleaning device with ventilation channels, which have ventilation bodies, made of a synthetic material.
