Abstract (en)
The method involves collecting dirt with brushes and extracting the dirt by an air flow. The air flow is guided in a suction line (1), where water is sprayed in the suction line. Half of the water is sprayed with the droplet dimension in the air flow, where the diameter of the droplet ranges from 250 to 500 micrometers. An aspirator (3) is connected with a suction area (4) over the suction line, and a collection tank (2) is connected with the suction line. A nozzle (7) is connected with a pressurized water source (9) and is arranged in an area of the suction line. An independent claim is also included for a device for executing a method for cleaning streets.

Verfahren zum Reinigen von Straßen, bei dem der Schmutz mit Bürsten erfasst und mittels eines Luftstroms abgesaugt wird, wobei der Luftstrom in einer Saugleitung (1) geführt wird, in die Wasser eingesprüht wird. Um die die Feinstaubbelastung zu reduzieren ist vorgesehen, dass zumindest die Hälfte des Wassers mit einer Tröpfchengröße von 200 bis 600 µm Durchmesser in den Luftstrom eingesprüht wird.
