Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1883270A2] The loudspeaker (1) has a voice coil (3) transmitting oscillations, which are stimulated by audio signals of a signal source (4), to a two-dimensional bending resistant unit (2) for development of transversal flexural vibrations of the unit and for delivering a sound (10). The voice coil produces a magnetic field with one intensity at location of the coil, and produces a control field with another intensity on an upper surface of the unit opposite to the coil. A reducer e.g. projection (5), reduces the intensity of the control field to half of the intensity of the magnetic field.
