Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1884586A2] The dryer has a drum (1) for receiving clothes that are to be washed. A process cycle guides heat processed air through the drum for cooling the air for dehydration and for further preheating the air. A heat pump circuit feeds a medium by a condenser (3), a throttle body (5), an evaporator (6) and a compressor (2). An additional heat exchanger (4) is arranged between the condenser and the throttle body for releasing heat from the heat pump circuit. A blower (7) is controlled depending on the temperature.
