[origin: DE202006015872U1] In a stationary suction device (1) for a fibrous sheet production machine, with a supporting surface (10) onto which an air-permeable belt (2) moving over the suction device is sucked via suction openings (11.1, 11.2) in the surface, lubricant is applied between the belt and partial supporting surfaces (12.1 - 12.3) around the suction opening from an applicator (15) via a lubricating gap (16) before the opening and partial supporting surfaces. An independent claim is included for a fibrous sheet production machine having a pressing part with pressing unit(s) in which the sheet (4) is passed together with belt(s) (2) through a pressing nip, where the belt is aligned with at least one suction device as above behind the pressing nip.
