[origin: WO2006128567A1] The invention relates to a respiration-controlled inhalation therapy device (1) which comprises an obturation mechanism (11), obturating a nozzle opening (5) through which a pressurized gas, preferably pressurized air, is issued when the device is in operation. An actuation mechanism (12) actuates the obturation mechanism (11) only in the exhalation phases of the respiration cycle of a patient. The fluid (8) to be atomized is therefore substantially atomized only in the inhalation phases.
