Abstract (en)
The method involves extending a cable (1) in a manner that a part of the cable is liberated from anchoring points. The part is liberated from another part of the points. The part is supported and evacuated remote from the anchoring points, where the part is sectioned during its evacuation. The part is supported using a support (18) arranged to raise the part and is maintained using a crane or scaffolding tower type auxiliary structure. An independent claim is also included for a system for dismounting a cable stretched between anchoring points on a structure.

L'invention propose un procédé de démontage d'un câble (1) tendu entre un premier (5) et un deuxième (6) points d'ancrage sur une structure (2). Le procédé comprend les étapes suivantes : libérer une partie courante du câble desdits premier et deuxième points d'ancrage ; supporter ladite partie courante du câble ; et évacuer ladite partie courante du câble à distance d'un au moins desdits premier et deuxième points d'ancrage, le support et l'évacuation de ladite partie courante du câble étant effectués à l'aide d'une pluralité d'appuis répartis le long de ladite partie courante du cable.
