Square-head pin, especially for a split lock nut e.g. of a panic lock, comprises two square sections (10, 12) that are removably interconnected by an at least partly flexible connecting element (14). An independent claim is also included for a process for mounting a square-head pin with two square sections in a split lock nut e.g. of a panic lock. Preferred Features: The connecting element is a cable, chain or helical spring and is connected to at least one of the square sections by a threaded pin (26).

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Vierkantstift, insbesondere für eine geteilte Schlossnuss, beispielsweise eines Panikschlosses, mit zwei Vierkantabschnitten, die mittels eines zumindest abschnittsweise flexiblen Verbindungsorgans lösbar miteinander verbunden sind. Die Erfindung betrifft ferner ein Verfahren zum Montieren eines derartigen Vierkantstifts in einer geteilten Schlossnuss.
