Abstract (en)

The invention relates to a microwave structure comprising a conductor strip arrangement (C) disposed on a substrate layer (2, 2'), the microwave structure is enclosed within a housing (1) comprising a top wall (T), a bottom wall (B) and side walls (W), the housing is made of at least two pieces (P1, P2, P3) which are assembled together and at least one piece of the housing is made of a plastic material, the walls surface in the interior (I) of the housing are plated with an electrical conductive material and the substrate layer (2, 2') is embedded in one of the plastic housing assembly pieces (P1, P2, P3) or is an integral part of one of the plastic assembly pieces (P1, P2, P3).
