[origin: WO2006111645A1] The invention concerns a mascara applicator comprising a rod (1) or the like including one end (2) supporting a brush-forming applying part (3), said rod having at least proximate the brush a main axis (x', x), said brush being provided with a plurality of bristles (5) systematically distributed about said main axis, the bristles (5) of said brush being all of the same length and oriented in divergent manner substantially from a central point (6) located substantially at said end (2) of the rod (1), in all the directions of the space inside a cone having as apex the central point (6) and whereof the apex angle (A) measurement is not less than about 230°, preferably not less than 300°.
