[origin: FR2886288A1] A glass substrate has the following chemical composition (by wt.%) : (A) silica (SiO 2) : 58 - 72; (B) titanium oxide (TiO 2) : 0.8 - 3; (C) boron oxide (B 2O 3) : 2 - 15; (D) aluminum oxide (Al 2O 3) : 10 - 25; (E) calcium oxide (CaO) : 2 - 12; (F) magnesium oxide (MgO) : 0 - 3; (G) barium oxide (BaO) : 0 - 6; (H) strontium oxide (SrO) : 0 - 4; (I) zinc oxide (ZnO) : 0 - 3; (J) R 2O : 0 - 1, where R 2O represents alkaline oxides. Independent claims are also included for : (1) the continuous fabrication of the substrates; (2) a flat screen incorporating the glass substrate.
