Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2006128686A1] To produce a structural element which withstands corrosive and/or abrasive hot gas streams during a preset service time and can be produced advantageously, it is proposed that the structural element comprises a ceramic fibre base body, that the base body is formed from a C/C moulding which in a volume region bordering the top side of the base body has a ceramic fibre structure reacted with Si to give C/C-SiC and that at least on a part region of the top side of the base body, a metal-comprising layer is applied.
