Abstract (en)
[origin: DE102005020096A1] In a system (T) for securing the vibrating system (E) of a household appliance during transport, based on a fastening bolt (Z) clamping a hollow cylinder (2) and the back (G) of the appliance between a threaded bore and its head (K), the cylinder has a coaxial extension (3) with which it is connected to a bridge (4) outside the contour of the cylinder. A fastening system (T) for temporarily securing the vibrating system (E) of a household appliance during transport comprises a keyhole-like passage (S) in a component (G) on the back side, through which a cylinder(2) is inserted. A cavity (5) guides a fastening bolt (Z) extending along the central axis of the cylinder and located between the passage and a threaded borehole in the vibrating system. The bolt clamps the cylinder and the component between the threaded bore and its head (K). The novel feature is that the cylinder has an axially spaced, coaxial extension (3) with its own coaxial cavity (6), with which it is connected to a bridge (4) outside the contour of the cylinder. A cam-like widening of the passage is at least partially filled by the bridge when the cylinder is inserted. When the cylinder is placed in the securing position, it is moved laterally over a hole (L) adjacent to the passage, so that the bolt extends through the holes (5, 6) in the cavity and extension, as well as into the threaded borehole. Independent claims are included for: (1) a household appliance including the fastening system, where the component (G) is the wall of the housing surrounding the vibrating system (E); (2) a method for securing the appliance using the system; and (3) a corresponding fastener (1).
