Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2006125686A1] The invention relates to a connection system (1, 1a) that is devoid of radial forces for a fuel-injection valve (2), which can be inserted into a cylinder head and is connected to a fuel distribution line (4), the latter comprising a connection to a pipe conduit (6) that leads to a fuel reservoir. Said system contains a connection part (7) for connecting to the pipe conduit (6). The connection system (1, 1a) is characterised by a retaining bracket (8) containing an elongated opening (10), which completely encompasses the fuel-injection valve (2), but nevertheless permits a compensation of tolerances (48) in the direction of the longitudinal axis (18) of the retaining bracket (8) and is also characterised by the fact that the connection part (7) for the pipe conduit (6), which leads to the fuel reservoir, comprises a pipe screw fitting (12) with an end piece (13). The latter (13) is configured in such a way that before the pipe conduit (6) is screwed tightly to the fuel distribution line (4), it can be displaced in a seat (25) on the supply side end of the fuel distribution line (4), in order to compensate the tolerances in two directions (35, 36) that run perpendicularly to the pipe conduit (6).
