Abstract (en)
A process for producing an ink-jet recording sheet according to the present invention contains: a first step in which a crosslinking-agent-containing coating-fluid containing a crosslinking agent and a surfactant is applied on a support and dried to form a crosslinking-agent-containing layer; and a second step in which an ink-receiving-layer-formable coating-fluid containing inorganic fine particles and a water-soluble resin crosslinkable with the crosslinking agent is applied on the crosslinking-agent-containing layer to form an ink-receiving layer.
