The device (2) has a sound proofing unit (4) and a dimensionally stable support unit supporting the sound proofing unit, where the support unit is formed by a profile unit (6). The profile unit is composed of a fiber-reinforced material e.g. fiber-reinforced plastic, fiber-reinforced concrete and/or fiber-reinforced polymer concrete, where material of the profile unit is reinforced with glass fiber, metal fiber and/or aramid fiber.

Eine erfindungsgemäße Schallschutzanordnung 2 weist ein biegeweiches Schallschutzelement 4 und ein im wesentlichen formstabiles Tragelement auf, das das Schallschutzelement 4 trägt. Erfindungsgemäf5 ist das Tragelement durch ein pultrudiertes Profilelement 6 gebildet.
