[origin: WO2006134241A1] The invention relates to a multifunctional carrying device for firefighting equipment for firefighting in natural areas. The inventive carrying device comprises: a) a carrying frame, preferably with at least two straps (2, 3) to be placed over the shoulders and at least one transversal strap (4) which is fixed to the shoulder straps (2, 3) and used as a belt, b) a first bag-type element (5) which is fixed, or can be fixed, to the carrying frame and can receive at least one water pouch (22), and a hands-free hydration system which is connected, or can be connected, to said water pouch (22), and c) at least one second bag-type element (11, 12) that is fixed, or can be fixed, to the carrying frame and can contain protective or firefighting clothing or survival suits, a protective mask, or at least one other accessory.
