[origin: DE102005028887A1] The diameter of the vertebral canal is reduced when a damaged vertebral disk is moved out of position. The implant, made of bone substance, is inserted between the spinous processes of two adjacent vertebrae. It has a first part with a slightly curved base and a socket element positioned on top and a second part with a complementary shaped base and a projection suitable for being inserted into the socket. The parts can be joined with a bio-compatible acrylic glue.
