Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2006116891A2] The invention relates to a device (1) for cleaning out the intestines, comprising a manually shapeable liquid container (10, 10', 10") and an intestinal tube (5, 5', 7, 8) which can be secured, in a detachable manner, either directly or indirectly to the liquid container and comprises at least one outlet opening (52) which is used to transfer a liquid from the liquid container into the rectum of a user. The novel device is particularly user-friendly and ensures that no contaminated liquid can flow back through the rectum into another part of the device. This is achieved by virtue of the fact that a return valve (40, 40', 40") is arranged between an outlet opening (53) of the intestinal tube and the liquid container (10, 10', 10") and that a ventilation valve (2, 2', 2", 2'") which is used to ventilate the liquid container (10, 10', 10") is arranged directly on or communicates with the liquid container (10, 10', 10") upstream from the return valve (40, 40', 40"). The invention also relates to an intestinal tube having an integrated return valve in order to make the use thereof more simple and hygienic.
