Abstract (en)
An improved method for wrapping tobacco and/or filters in the manufacture of cigarettes has at least two applicator heads to apply parallel stripes of adhesive to one edge of the paper. Cold adhesive is used for one stripe and hot adhesive for another stripe. Each applicator head is independently adjustable to best suit particular items being wrapped. The spacing of the applicator jets is less than 1 cm. A cooling plate is positioned behind the hot adhesive station.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Beleimungseinrichtung (60) mit einer erste Beleimungsvorrichtung (51), die eine erste Leimspur abgibt, und einer zweiten Beleimungsvorrichtung (71), die eine zweite Leimspur abgibt, zum Aufbringen der ersten und zweiten Leimspur auf einen Umhüllungsmaterialstreifen (21) eines Strangs (59) der Tabak verarbeitenden Industrie aus Fasern endlicher Länge, insbesondere eines Filter- oder Tabakstrangs, in einer Einrichtung zur Herstellung des Strangs (59). Bevorzugt handelt es sich bei der ersten Leimspur um eine Kaltleimspur und bei der zweiten Leimspur um eine Heißleimspur.
