[origin: EP1892206A2] The sheet feeding device has a sheet separator (3), separating a sheet (1) and adjustable in and against sheet conveying direction (17) for format adjustment. Glass devices develop an air cushion, supporting the sheet conveying, and the device limits a sheet conveying level of the sheet and comprises individual sheet feeding elements. The sheet feeding elements comprise a strap-like body (20) and a winding roll (21) loaded by a rewinding force. The strap-like bodies have a formation increasing the resistive torque against bending.
