Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1892368A2] The device has a fire door (3) with a fire protection unit (1`) that includes two cover plates (4) between which a filling (5, 5`) from a fireproof material is accommodated. The fire door is fastened with a door strap (7) over fastening strips (8) to a longitudinal side of the fire door. The fastening strips are connected with one another for rotatable support of the fire door over two hinges, which are spaced apart from each other. One of the cover plates includes a recess (10), in which the hinges are partially accommodated.
