The diffusor (4) has an external limiting wall applied at the steam outlet opening (16) of the steam turbine (1) .The limiting wall is formed s-shaped in cross section. The outer limiting wall is formed, in cross section, parallel to a steam flow direction starting from locating point to steam outlet opening.

Es wird ein Diffusor (4) für eine Strömungsmaschine vorgestellt, wobei der Diffusor (4) eine äußere Begrenzungswand (18) aufweist, die zum Anlegen an einer Dampfaustrittsöffnung (22) der Dampfturbine (1) ausgebildet ist, wobei die äußere Begrenzungswand (18) im Querschnitt gesehen S-förmig (20) ausgebildet ist.
