Abstract (en)
[origin: FR2886887A1] The device has an exchanger (1) for cooling exhaust gas which is cooled by engine coolant (2). The exchanger is connected in parallel with a coolant circuit which is connected to a unit heater. An exhaust gas recycling circuit has a valve (4) to control the flow of recycled exhaust gas to an engine intake (3). The circuit has a bypass (7) for directing the exhaust gases towards an exhaust manifold (6) of the engine, where the bypass has a valve (8) to control the exhaust gas returning to the manifold, and the valves (4, 8) are controlled by a controller (5).
