Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2006131420A1] The invention relates to a fuel injection device for an internal combustion engine, having a high-pressure accumulator space (10). The latter comprises a plurality of connecting bores (30) which serve to lead fuel away from or feed fuel to the high-pressure accumulator space (10). In each case high-pressure lines (18) to fuel injectors or fuel feed lines from a high-pressure source are connected to said connecting bores (30). In each case at least one restrictor element (28) which has a restrictor channel (34) of single-step or multiple-step configuration and is pressed as a press-in restrictor element into the wall (12) of the high-pressure accumulator space (10) is assigned at least to the connecting bores (30) of the high-pressure lines (18) to the fuel injectors. The at least one restrictor element (28, 52, 58, 80) is configured as a preshaped component which has elastic properties and is held with a force-transmitting fit at at least one contact point (32, 56, 64, 84, 86) in the connecting bores (30) in the wall (12) of the high-pressure accumulator space (10).
