Abstract (en)
The umbrella has a central shaft (1), and a ribbed assembly (2) that is pivotably attached to the shaft to fasten an umbrella body (3) to the ribbed assembly. A handle (4) is attached to a lower section of the shaft. A covering unit (5) has a connecting strip (51) that is attached to the handle, and a covering element (52) that is fastened to the connecting strip, where the covering element and the strip are made of cloth, fiber, plastic or elastic material. The covering element encloses the body and the handle when the umbrella is respectively folded and opened.

Ein Regenschirm enthält ein Hüllenelement (52), das an einem Verbindungsband (51) befestigt ist, das an einem Griff (4) des Regenschirms angebracht ist, wodurch beim Zusammenfalten eines Regenschirms das Hüllenelement dazu dienen kann, den Schirmkörper (3) im zusammengefalteten Zustand ordentlich zu umhüllen; und beim Öffnen des Regenschirms kann das Hüllenelement (52) dann dazu dienen, den Griff (4) zu umhüllen, wodurch ein Regenschirm entsteht, dessen Schirmkörper (3) ordentlich geöffnet ist, ohne das Sichtfeld eines Benutzers zu beeinträchtigen.
