Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1894508A2] The cleaner has an adapter (5) for receiving an end area of a vacuum cleaner suction tube and for receiving a tube support of a handle at respective ends of the adapter. The tube is designed as a telescopic tube. The adapter is formed by frames (15-17), which are rotatably connected by a film hinge (19), where the hinge runs parallel to a longitudinal axis of the tube. Free end areas of the frames are deformed against the end area of the tube over a screw fitting (22) in an assembled position. The frames are made of plastic e.g. polyamide and polypropylene.
