[origin: EP1894857A1] The underground tank (E) has a tank dome (D) formed of plastic, and tank parts and tank dome in an insertion position (M) protruding over the adjacent tank or tank part profile. A receiving hub is selectively provided for a cover, a manhole pit or an intermediate piece. The tank dome is separately made as a release part and is mounted in the insertion position in a round opening that is flushed with the tank periphery in one of several selectable rotating positions relative to the tank and/or the tank parts.
