The testing device (10) has a storage element and a camshaft (80), which indirectly acts on a piston (26) of the fuel injection system. An angular position sensor (82) is arranged indirectly at the camshaft. A hub (H1) of a cam (78) of the camshaft is attached in the storage element of a rotation angle of the camshaft. The storage element is formed as a random access memory (RAM), a read only memory (ROM), a flash memory, an optical storage medium or a magnetic storage medium. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for adjusting testing device (2) a computer program on an arithmetic device, particularly a control device to control a testing device.

Eine Prüfvorrichtung (10) dient zur Prüfung von nockengetriebenen Kraftstoff Einspritzsystemen (12). Sie umfasst eine Nockenwelle (80), die über einen Hebel (60) wenigstens mittelbar auf einen Kolben (26) des Kraftstoff-Einspritzsystems (12) wirken kann. Es wird vorgeschlagen, an der Nockenwelle (80) einen Drehwinkelsensor (82) vorzuschen und die zu verschiedenen Hüben (H;) gehörenden Drehwinkel (Õ i ) nach erfolgter Montage der Prüfvorrichtung zu erfassen und abzuspeichern. Dadurch können Fehleinstellungen im Betrieb der Prüfvorrichtung vermieden und die Rüstzeiten beim Wechsel von einem Kraftstoff-Eilispritzsystem zu einem anderen Kraftstoff-Einspritzsystem deutlich reduziert werden.
