[origin: WO2007000138A1] The invention relates to a balljoint and to a particular embodiment of the bearing shell (1) of such a balljoint. According to the invention, a high wear resistance for the bearing shell and hence for the joint and a reduction in transmitted chassis noise with a view to increase in comfort may be achieved, whereby the bearing shell has an at least two-layered embodiment with an inner layer (2) made from metal and the outer layer (3) made from plastic, for example, polyoxymethylene.
