[origin: WO2006131399A2] The invention relates to a method and an assembly for creating a document. In said method and assembly at least personal data relating to a person and a characteristic value are stored in at least one database, the characteristic value being assigned to the personal data. Document data is selected based on the stored characteristic value and at least part of the document is created with the aid of the selected document data. Information relating to a point in time is assigned to at least part of the document data. In addition, a time period is pre-set and the document data is only selected if the time period comprises said point in time. The invention also relates to methods and devices for sending printed matter and to a method and an assembly for ordering a document.
