Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1897453A2] The device for conveying stick-form articles of the tobacco processing industry has an adjusting unit, comprising drives (41-44), for a longitudinal guiding device for at least one head end of the stick-form articles. Two relatively movable end face longitudinal guide rails (30,31), which are adjustable in their relative spacing, constitute a transverse transporting unit. The guide rails are provided with two end position stops (35,45:36,46). The guide rails can be adjusted in the opposite directions or symmetrically to each other. An independent claim is included for a machine of the tobacco processing industry or conveying installation of the tobacco processing industry, with a device for conveying stick-form articles, especially filters.
