Claimed is a locomotive rail traffic system based upon the ERTMS European Rail Traffic Management System and ETCS European Train Control System Level 2 with an RBC Radio Block Centre and linked to a signal box. The locomotive rail traffic system directs locomotives along selected routes using a permanent GSM-R Global System for Mobile Communication-Railways radio net between the RBC and locomotives. The RBC has a route information server with a number of client stations depicting train times. The server is linked to the signal box. The GSM-R modules have radio links to the locomotives.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Zugbeeinflussungssystem auf der Basis von ERTMS (European Rail Traffic Management System) und ETCS (European Train Control System) Level 2 mit einem RBC (Radio Block Center) (2), das mit einem Stellwerk (1) verbunden ist, zur Führung von Fahrzeugen auf einem bestimmten Streckenabschnitt mittels permanenter GSM-R (Global System for Mobile Communication-Railways)-Funkverbindungen (3) zwischen dem RBC (2) und den Fahrzeugen. Um eine größere Anzahl von Fahrzeugen führen zu können, ist vorgesehen, dass das RBC (2) einen Streckeninformationen abbildenden Server (5) und mehrere Fahrzeuginformationen abbildende Clients (6 1 ... 6 n ) aufweist, wobei der Server (5) mit dem Stellwerk (1) verbunden ist und die Clients (6 1 ... 6 n ) mit dem Server (5) verbunden sind und GSM-R-Module für Funkverbindungen zu Fahrzeuggeräten (4, 7 1 ... 7 k , 8 1 ... 8 r ) zugeordneter Fahrzeuge aufweisen.
