[origin: EP1897840A1] The rope winch (1) has a bearing support (3), rope drum (2) supported on the bearing support so as to be rotatable about a drive axis (30), drive motor (9), and planetary gear (12) connected to the drive motor. The drive motor drives the rope drum about the drive axis through the gear. A sensor i.e. wire strain gauge, senses a load acting on the rope drum. An exchangeably secured component i.e. bolt (18), is exchangeable without dismounting the bearing support. The sensor is arranged on the exchangeably secured component.
