[origin: EP1898014A2] The panel (10) has an insulation supporting body (14) provided in a vacuum-tight foil cover (17), and an edge-sided recess (20) provided in the supporting body. An insertion element (30) is arranged in the recess with a flange (31) that surrounds the recess and the foil cover is welded with the flange and/or the insertion element, where the flange is formed as circular. The insertion element has a diffusion-close coating at its outer side and inner side (35). The coating is formed from metallic and/or inorganic layers coated on the outer side and/or the inner side.
