The Injector (1) has an injector body (2), in which a jet needle (5) is supported in a needle section (4) for controlling an injection of fuel through an injection hole (6). A hollow piston (7) is supported in an actuator section (3), which is axially bounded by the front side of an annular coupling space (8). A rod-shaped piezo actuator (9) is coaxially arranged in the piston for controlling the pressure in coupling space, which is supported on the one side and on a base (10) of the piston on another side. A control chamber (13) is bounded by a control surface of the jet needle.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen Injektor (1) für eine Kraftstoffeinspritzanlage einer Brennkraftmaschine, der einen Injektorkörper (2) aufweist, in dem in einem Nadelabschnitt (4) eine Düsennadel (5) zur Steuerung der Einspritzung von Kraftstoff durch wenigstens ein Spritzloch (6) hubverstellbar gelagert ist, und in welchem in einem Aktorabschnitt (3) ein Hohlkolben (7) hubverstellbar gelagert ist, der mit seiner, dem wenigstens einen Spritzloch (6) zugewandten ringförmigen Stirnseite einen ringförmigen Kopplerraum (8) axial begrenzt. Koaxial im Hohlkolben (7) ist dabei ein stabförmiger Piezoaktor (9) angeordnet, der sich einerseits direkt oder indirekt am Injektorkörper (2) und andererseits an einem Boden (10) des Hohlkolbens (7) abstützt. Aufgrund der Tatsache, dass ein, durch eine Steuerfläche der Düsennadel (5) begrenzter Steuerraum (13) mit dem Kopplerraum (8) hydraulisch verbunden ist, bewirkt eine Bestromung des Piezoaktors (9) eine Öffnungsbewegung der Düsennadel (5).
