[origin: EP1898170A2] The treatment equipment (1) is divided into two or more treatment chambers (2) through which extends the conveying path (3, 4) for the components. Each treatment chamber includes provision for gas removal (12). Gas inlets (10, 11) introduce carrier- and/or reaction gases. Each chamber has a recirculation unit (5) for the gases. Each chamber includes gas guidance baffles (7, 8) bringing the gas into contact with the components to be treated. Gas outlets (12) are located in pressurized regions of the treatment chamber; they are alternatively located in regions of reduced pressure and gas is removed under suction. Valves can be opened or closed to remove gases selectively from one or more treatment chambers. Each treatment chamber includes its own post-treatment chamber (a gas incineration chamber) for the gases led away, and/or the gases enter a manifold leading to a common gas treatment chamber.
