Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1898172A2] The cannon (GT) has a firing projectile conveying elevator extending inwards in vertical direction to the magazine base from the shell magazine in the spire basket area. A projectile transfer arm and projectile conveyor elevator are arranged at each other, such that the loading tray aligned to the moving direction of the lifting disk of the conveyor elevator is arranged in projectile transfer arm swiveling down in the spire basket area such that a projectile arranged on the lifting disk is inserted directly into the loading tray provided with a projectile holding device. A driving and controlling devices is provided for movement of the projectile transporter of the projectile conveyor elevator and of the projectile transfer arm.
