[origin: EP1898502A2] The device (6) has a base plate with a tool carrier (4) for a crimping tool (2) and a storage carrier (5) for a storage unit (3). The tool carrier is rigidly connected with the crimping device during normal application. The tool carrier is supported on a projection (7) of the storage carrier, and is movable in relation to the storage unit. Locking brackets (8) are designed such that the tool carrier is movable with a horizontal and vertical free play with respect to the projection, so that oscillation technique is decoupled and separated from the storage carrier during normal application.
