Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2007004016A2] The machine for coating cores, such as tablets for pharmacological or food use, comprises a rotary container or "coating pan" (10) , designed to contain a mass of cores (1) to be coated, a fixed supporting structure (20) , designed to rotatably support the coating pan (10) , motor parts (30) , designed to drive the rotation of the coating pan (10) , a door (12) , designed to block a coating pan inlet mouth (11) , and applicator parts (40) , designed to apply a coating product on the mass of cores (1) . Inside the coating pan (10) there is a drying device (50) , designed to affect the mass of cores (1) to facilitate mixing and speed up their drying, and to convey from/to said mass of cores (1) an air flow for drying the coating layer. The drying device (50) comprises a tubular exhaust manifold (51) , an adjustable intermediate tubular portion (55) and an end portion (60) , comprising a paddle (62) . The drying device (50) also has adjusting means (58, 59, 65) designed to vary the position of the paddle (62) according to three degrees of freedom.
