Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2006122677A2] The invention relates to a method for singulating stacked, disk-shaped elements (3, 3', 3'') from a stack (2) as well as a singulating device. Said singulating device (1) comprises a feeding mechanism (4), by means of which a stack (2) of disk-shaped elements (3, 3', 3'') is delivered to an accelerating unit (5). A section of a peripheral edge (9') of a first element (3) of the stack (2) is accelerated by the accelerating unit (5), thus increasing the traveling speed of the first element (3) of the stack (2). The element (3) that has been accelerated on one side at the peripheral edge (9) thereof is placed on a conveying mechanism (32), with the aid of which the deposited element (3) is conveyed away.
