Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2007003368A1] A vibrating plate system comprises a group consisting of at least two vibrating plates (10, 20, 30), which are mechanically coupled to one another via a coupling device (1), and comprises a controlling transmitter (5) for outputting control data to the vibrating plates (10, 20, 30). Each of the vibrating plates comprises: a receiving device (12, 22, 32) for receiving the control data; a traveling mechanism for the forward and rearward movement of the vibrating plate, and; a position determining device (13, 23, 33) for determining the position of the relevant vibrating plate (10, 20, 30) within the group. In addition, a rule memory is provided in which control rules are stored. One control rule defines a correlation between a control measure for controlling the traveling mechanism according to the position of the vibrating plate (10, 20, 30) and an item of control information given by the control data. In each vibrating plate, a single control device selects a suitable control rule according to the position of the vibrating plate (10, 20, 30) and to the item of control information and controls the traveling mechanism accordingly.
