Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2007003062A1] Disclosed is an operator's device (10) for automatic hot beverage dispensers that are configured for preparing and dispensing several different beverages and/or mixed beverages which can be selected by means of the operator's device (10), respectively, and can be prepared and dispensed according to the selection made. Said operator's device (10) is embodied as a touch screen that visually represents symbols (2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, 2e, 2f, 2g, 2h) stored in a memory unit as the displayed basic setting as a first selecting mechanism (2) which is used for choosing a desired beverage or mixed beverage and by means of which a predetermined preparation process is triggered when the first selecting mechanism (2) is activated by touching the symbol (2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, 2e, 2f, 2g, 2h) visually represented on the touch screen. The preparation process is then run and can be visually represented on the touch screen in chronological order. Alternatively, the touch screen is used as a second selecting mechanism (21) for choosing a preparation setting wanted by an operator while a beverage or mixed beverage is chosen by actuating the first selecting mechanism (2). When a preparation setting is selected, the touch screen displays the symbol (2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, 2e, 2f, 2g, 2h) for the beverage chosen with the aid of the first selecting mechanism (2) in addition to setup key symbols (5a, 5b, 5c, 5d) that allow an operator to select and store a desired setting by touching the same.
