Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1900672A1] The method involves updating a destination call terminal (20) with a control data packet for modernizing control functions of a lift system (10). The control data packet is deposited on a mobile control data storage element (30) such as memory card. The control data packet is transmitted from the data storage element to the terminal via a near-field radio connection that is generated within a predefined distance between the data storage element and the terminal. The control data packet is deposited in a memory unit (21) of the terminal.
