Abstract (en)
Biaxially oriented polyester film comprises a base layer and a heat-sealable and peelable covering layer, both comprising titanium-catalyzed polyesters with a titanium content of 1-500 ppm. The covering layer comprises a polyester with both aromatic and aliphatic dicarboxylic acid units. An independent claim is also included for producing a polyester film as above by producing a multilayer film by coextrusion, stretching the film longitudinally and transversely and thermofixing the film, where an antifog coating is applied before longitudinal stretching or after longitudinal but before transverse stretching.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine biaxial orientierte Polyesterfolie, welche eine Basisschicht (B) und eine auf dieser Schicht (B) befindliche heißsiegelbare und gegenüber amorphem und kristallinem Polyester peelfähige Deckschicht (A) aufweist, wobei die Deckschicht (A) Polyester enthält, der aromatische und aliphatische Dicarbonsäureeinheiten aufweist, und die Schichten (A) und (B) titankatalysierten Polyester mit einer Titankonzentration von 1 bis 150 ppm enthalten Der bevorzugte Polyester der Basisschicht (B) ist PET, der der Deckschicht (A) ein Copolyester mit Ethylenterephthalat- und Ethylenisophthalat-Einheiten. Die Deckschicht (A) kann mit einer Antifog-Beschichtung versehen sein.
