[origin: EP1900919A1] The circuit has a cylinder head water jacket (18), an engine block water jacket (19), a pump (21), a single-acting thermostat (23) and a heater core (24), where the thermostat is located downstream of the cylinder head water jacket and upstream of the heater core and the engine block water jacket. A radiator (22) is arranged downstream of the engine block water jacket. A connecting line (26) is provided between the pump and the heater core. The thermostat is closed below a predetermined temperature and open above the predetermined temperature.
