The oven has an oven door (1) and a locking device for locking the closed oven door against the oven housing with the aid of a motor-adjustable lock bar on the housing side that engages the locking element (10) with stop limiting in the locking position. The locking element is in the form of a part (10) that can be inserted into an opening (9) in the oven door surround (4) and that can be clamped by a clamp arrangement.

Der Backofen besitzt eine Ofentür (1) und eine Verriegelungseinrichtung zum Verriegeln der geschlossenen Ofentür (1) gegenüber dem Gehäuse des Backofens mittels eines motorisch verstellbaren gehäuseseitigen Riegels, der in der Verriegelungsstellung in ein Sperrelement (10) eingreift. Das Sperrelement ist als in eine Ausnehmung (9) der Einfassung (4) der Ofentür(1) einsteckbares und darin mittels Spannmitteln verspannbares Bauteil (10) ausgebildet.
