Abstract (en)
The plug connector has a plug connector housing (2) formed for accommodation of a contact partner accommodated in an accommodation space. The position of the contact partner in an accommodation space is defined by a front side section in the plug connector housing. The plug connector is arranged further at an end of a cable, which comprises an electrical conductor connected with the contact partner. A cable adapter (3) is connectable with the plug connector housing, where the contact partner is fixed in the cable adapter in a locking manner.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Steckverbinder (1) der ein Steckverbindergehäuse (2) aufweist, wobei das Steckverbindergehäuse (2) zur Aufnahme eines Kontaktpartners (10) ausgebildet ist, der in einem Aufnahmeraum (18) angeordnet ist, wobei die Lage des Kontaktpartners (10) in dem Aufnahmeraum(18) durch einen stirnseitigen Absatz (14) in dem Steckverbindergehäuse (2) begrenzt ist, wobei der Steckverbinder (1) weiterhin an einem Ende eines Kabels (8) angeordnet ist, das einen mit dem Kontaktpartner (10) verbundenen elektrischen Leiter (9) aufweist, wobei erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen ist, dass ein mit dem Steckverbindergehäuse (2) verbindbarer Kabeladapter (3) vorgesehen ist, wobei der Kontaktpartner (10) rastend in dem Kabeladapter (3) festgelegt ist.
