[origin: WO2007003253A1] Disclosed is a compressor unit, especially for compressing air inside portable/transportable devices. Said compressor unit comprises a motor, a reciprocating compressor, and a gear unit that is disposed between the motor and the reciprocating compressor. Said gear unit is provided with at least one additional gear between the motor and the crank mechanism. Said additional gear generates torque on the crank, the torque changing during the time the additional gear performs one revolution.
